There was once a little girl
Who had no idea
That her goodie-goodie image
Would equip her with fear
Growing up every Saturday
Watching her favorite super heroes
On Super Friends
Wasn’t long til she related to them
Started thinking and began mimicking
Every hero was almost perfect
And they always remained friends
And even though there was some romancing
They stuck together til the end
Now she’s trying to recreate
All the stories they were in

Everyday there’s a young girl
Dressed in her cat suit
Batting her eyes at Boy Wonder
And Boy Wonder is there but wondering why
Wonder Woman doesn’t want him
While Wonder Woman worries
As Superman’s world is spent flying with Supergirl whose wild and
Bugging on Batman’s lifestyle
And Batman’s feigning for his batgirl
But she died so his eyes are now set on Catgirl
See we can be the eye candy and
We can be the eye sore
Everybody identifies with both sides of the uproar
When we get some attention we give none in return
Then we give out our attention and get none and it burns
Where the story begins
Is where the story often ends
But we can all keep it cool
Cause we’re all super friends…right?

She knew what she was getting into
Knowing he wasn’t feeling her
But she couldn’t fight the hope
That he might come around and love her
See he was a nice boy, a shy boy
Kinda quiet
Kinda of a sidekick with his friends
But still popular
That’s when she first noticed him
Hanging with the super dudes in the super crew
But still cool and not quite like them
So she traded her cover-up clothes
For Mac make-up and black garments with skin tight holes
And pranced around in front of him
Long enough getting him to gaze at her
But his eyes never locked in
Cause his heart became fond of someone else right then
He was looking at another girl
A classy girl
A sassy girl
The “it girl” in his world
Who wore sundresses and pin curls
But she quickly became his wonder girl
The “I wonder why she spends so much time with me but doesn’t like me” girl
And slowly his heart started melting
As he realized he was “in” but not “accepted” by this heartbreaker
So now he turns and contemplates
Going back to the first girl that liked him in the first place

Now Supergirl is real pretty
And Supergirl is mad cool
And Supergirl knows her sex appeal
Can attract many dudes
And make them drool
All the men except Batman
He can control his saliva
Cause he’s been too busy working
building up his empire
So of course he becomes the object of Supergirl’s desire
Plus he’s got a nice car and his swag is on fire
He’s a bad boy but not a villain
A taste of mystery but still chilling
Yeah he sees Supergirl over there grilling
But he’s got plans to rack up millions
Plus, she reminds him of his deceased honey
Who he found out only loved him for his money
But since she’s been dead and gone
He’s gotten a little soft and sworn off girls who weren’t made for the long haul
Besides lately his mind’s been preoccupied
With a good girl that recently tried to go bad
Though she thinks her body looks nice in that skin-tight skin-peeping
Outfit he knows it doesn’t look right and
doesn’t compliment her soft-hearted nature
Which is the main reason why his attention first fell on her
He’s hoping she’ll revert back to her natural born beauty
Cause he likes her
Still he’s had his share of crazy girls that are unruly…but truly
He recognizes much like us
We don’t always get what we desire
Getting mad when the person that we want doesn’t want us
And frustrated when the ones that do want us
Are ones over whom we make no fuss
